place in the future when Earth is overcrowded, the people living on
the Moon are enemies wanting war, and a plague ravages the people of
Earth. Cinder is a gifted mechanic and a cyborg who helps handsome
Prince Kai by repairing his old tutor android. All the usual elements
of the Cinderella story are here -- the evil stepmother, the two
stepsisters, even a fairy godmother, of sorts. Plus, there are the
added elements of science fiction -- mind control, robots, biological
research and experiments, and more. If you enjoyed Ella Enchanted by
Gail Carson Levine or Just Ella by Margaret Peterson Haddix, you will
want to read Cinder. Cinder should be ready for checkout by the end
